Pakistan is known for its high altitude climbing where the area provides equal opportunity for Rock climbing as well. There are numerous untouched rock faces in the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush ranges of Pakistan which are ideal for rock climbers.
New challange for rock climbers
Saraksa Valley
In the north east of Hushe possesses some of the best rock climbing peaks in the world. TheFati peak, Neza peak and Farhat peak presents unique climbing opportunities for rock enthusiasts.The valley is located at a distance of tow days by foot journey from Husshe valley.
Shipton Spire
Shipton Spire is one of the most popular rock located in Baltoro sub-range Shigar valley Baltistan NorthernAreas. It has a typical shape like that of a Pencil. Trango Towers and Hiana Brakk are alsosituated in its vicinity. The rock is erect, high and steep. Shipton Spire is very difficult and challenging to climb. In 1996 American and Australian team succeeded inclimbing this gigantic rock. The base camp of Shipton Spire has a very scenic view. A seasonal sprin and colorful flowers increase its beauty manifold.
Nangma Valley Rock peaks

Nangma valley is situated in Kanday village Husshe valley Northern Areas. The valley has numerous rock peaks like Changi Tower, Amin Brakk, and Brakk Zang, The elevation of these rocks varies from high to small providing an opportunity to climbers of all age groups. These rocks are easily accessible and located just tow days travel away from Kanday village. The area
is full of lush greenery and beautiful flowers. Nangma valley also offers great trekking opportunity. It has zigzag tracks with scenic surrounding.
TRANGO TOWERS The Trango Towers are located in Shigar valley of Baltistan Northern Areas. The tower consist of two parts Great Trango and Nameless Trango.They are northern part of Balto Glacier sub-range of mighty Karakoram range. The highest point in the group is the summit of Great Trango Tower, 6,286 m (20,608 ft) The Towers have some of the largest cliffs and considered to be most challenging rock climbing in the world. The east face of the Great Trango Tower features the world's greatest nearly vertical drop. The Trango Towers group has seen some of the most difficult and challenging climbs ever accomplished, due to the combination of altitude, total height of the routes,and the steepness of the rock. The first sucessful climbing attempt was made in 1977 Great Trango was first climbed in 1977 by Galen Rowell John Roskelley Kim Schmitz Jim Morrissey and Dennis Hennek . The east face of Great Trango was first climbed in 1984 by the Norwegians Han Christian Doseth and Finn Dæhli Both climbers lost their lives while desending the tower.The first successful climb of and return from the East Summit was in 1992, by Xaver Bongard and John Middendorf. British legendary Joe Brown along with group of clibers were first to climbed Trango Nameless Tower in 1976 climber along.
